Welcome

As Chieftain of the Cortachy Highland Games and Horticultural Society, I wish to welcome all who might have an interest in these Games to our website.

The Games have long been part of the life of Cortachy, and have always welcomed new and old faces from home and abroad every year. They take place in the grounds of Cortachy Castle, next to the River South Esk, with the stunning backdrop of Cortachy Castle in the background.

I hope that the website will encourage you to participate in the Games, whether you are local wishing to check up on what entries you are planning to make, or from overseas wishing to compete in the dancing or piping competitions. All are welcome to participate.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the committee and numerous volunteers who put in many hours every year to ensure the success of the Games.

I do hope that you are able to attend our Games, whether to compete, renew friendships, or just as a day out. I welcome you all.
